Hatha Yoga in particular is really a nice form when it comes to stress relief. The word Hatha promotes balance, as the word Hatha is combined of two words "ha" meaning sun and " tha" meaning moon. Balancing the sun and moon of the body can help in relieving stress. Also, the mindful nature of hatha yoga makes it a great practice for stress management.

As yoga promotes relaxation, it naturally becomes a fighter against stress. Stress attacks the mind, body and breath and Yoga takes care of all these three aspects. Various Yoga postures also promote better blood flow to the brain which becomes helpful in stress reduction.

Yes of course. Yoga enhances the mood and overall sense of being. Yoga practice helps with a clear vision of life. Yoga poses like camel pose and downward-facing dog pose improve blood circulation. Pranayama also helps to lower the blood pressure and eventually promotes mental as well as physical relaxation.

Fatigue can be mental or physical and if you're experiencing chronic fatigue, Yoga is the right option for you. Yoga connects the mind, body and breath together. As yoga warms up the body and improves blood circulation you'll feel warmer and lighter after a yoga class. Also, a short meditation is always helpful in reducing fatigue.

Restorative yoga is a good practice for depression.
